How It Works

How It Works

Nine steps from discovery to sale. Each step produces a record the next one relies on, so nothing about your ownership is held together informally.

Review the offer, documents and payment steps, then complete the purchase of your ownership share.

  • 04

    Own

Your ownership share is officially recorded, including your usage rights, costs and voting rights.

  • 05

    Book

Reserve your time on the yacht based on your annual allowance and the yacht’s booking rules.

  • 06

    Enjoy

The management team handles the crew, maintenance and day-to-day operations while you enjoy your time onboard.

  • 07

    Vote

Owners can vote on important decisions such as budgets, major upgrades and changes to the ownership programme.

  • 08

    Pay

Your share of the yacht’s operating costs is clearly tracked, with invoices, payments and additional contributions all in one place.

  • 09

    Sell

When you’re ready to exit, your ownership share can be transferred or resold through the programme’s approved process.

In practice

Ownership without the operational burden

A well-run programme puts a professional crew, a maintained vessel and a clear schedule between you and the sea. What co-ownership adds is proportionality: you pay for the share you use, and the administration proving that is exact, itemised and available to you at any time.

Questions

Common questions

What exactly do I own?
An ownership interest in the entity that holds the yacht, expressed in units and a percentage. The entity may be a corporation, LLC, partnership, SPV or trust depending on the programme and jurisdiction.
What does co-ownership cost beyond the purchase?
Your allocated share of the annual operating budget — crew, berthing, insurance, maintenance, fuel and management — plus any approved capital items. Every allocation is itemised on your statement.
What if two owners want the same week?
The booking policy decides: entitlement, seasons, notice periods, peak allowances and rotation are evaluated automatically, and unavailable dates offer a waitlist.
Who runs the yacht day to day?
The professional management company. Owners see the outcome — availability, condition, trips and costs — without handling crew or suppliers themselves.
