Ownership, money and decisions are recorded once, authoritatively, and everything else reads from that record.
Guarantees, not conventions
Rules that matter — tenancy, entitlement, percentages, oversubscription — are enforced by the database and the server.

An owner should be able to answer 'what do I own, what do I owe, when can I sail' in seconds, from a phone.
Restraint in the interface
This is administration for significant assets. The software should feel closer to private banking than to consumer apps.
Position
A platform, not a brokerage
YachtX does not own yachts, sell shares or advise on structures. Programmes, vessels and ownership interests belong to the management companies and brokers who operate on the platform, in the jurisdictions and legal structures their advisers determine. Our responsibility is that the system administering them is accurate, secure and auditable.
